In the world of fully automated sealing lines, open-loop, semi closed loop, and fully closed loop control systems are like three distinct "operators", each controlling the rhythm and accuracy of the sealing process. If an open-loop is an actor who blindly performs according to the script, and a semi closed loop is a dancer who walks in the mirror, then a fully closed loop is undoubtedly a conductor who observes all directions. In the highly precise and stable sealing process, the fully closed-loop control system stands out with its unique advantages and has become a "god level operator" in the industry.
開環(huán)控制系統(tǒng)在全自動(dòng)封膠線中的運(yùn)作模式十分直白。系統(tǒng)接收封膠指令后,便依照預(yù)設(shè)程序驅(qū)動(dòng)設(shè)備執(zhí)行動(dòng)作,全程不檢測(cè)實(shí)際封膠效果,宛如按照固定腳本表演,無論舞臺(tái)狀況如何變化都不做調(diào)整。這種系統(tǒng)結(jié)構(gòu)簡(jiǎn)單、成本較低,適用于對(duì)封膠精度要求不高的場(chǎng)景,比如一些普通包裝產(chǎn)品的簡(jiǎn)易封邊作業(yè)。但在實(shí)際生產(chǎn)中,開環(huán)控制的弊端盡顯。封膠過程中,膠泵壓力波動(dòng)、膠槍移動(dòng)速度變化,或是工件尺寸存在微小差異,都會(huì)導(dǎo)致實(shí)際出膠量和封膠軌跡偏離預(yù)期,而系統(tǒng)卻無法察覺并修正。例如,在使用開環(huán)控制的封膠線為塑料盒封邊時(shí),若膠泵突然壓力不足,盒體邊緣就會(huì)出現(xiàn)膠量不均、密封不嚴(yán)的情況,嚴(yán)重影響產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量。
The operation mode of the open-loop control system in the fully automatic sealing line is very straightforward. After receiving the sealing instruction, the system drives the device to execute actions according to the preset program, without detecting the actual sealing effect throughout the process, as if performing according to a fixed script, without making adjustments regardless of changes in stage conditions. This system has a simple structure and low cost, and is suitable for scenarios that do not require high sealing accuracy, such as simple edge sealing operations for some ordinary packaging products. But in actual production, the drawbacks of open-loop control are fully demonstrated. During the sealing process, fluctuations in the pressure of the glue pump, changes in the speed of the glue gun movement, or slight differences in the size of the workpiece can cause the actual glue output and sealing trajectory to deviate from expectations, but the system cannot detect and correct them. For example, when using an open-loop control sealing line to seal the edge of a plastic box, if the pressure of the glue pump suddenly drops, the edge of the box will have uneven glue volume and poor sealing, seriously affecting product quality.

The semi closed loop control system has been improved on the basis of open-loop, by installing sensors on transmission components such as motors and screws to detect the motion parameters of intermediate links and indirectly calculate the position and dispensing status of the glue gun. It is like a dancer adjusting their position by observing their own movements through a mirror, but cannot directly see the final presentation effect. In the fully automatic sealing line, the semi closed loop system can effectively reduce the impact caused by transmission component errors. When the motor speed decreases due to load changes, the system can adjust the driving signal in a timely manner to ensure stable movement speed of the glue gun. However, due to the mechanical transmission chain between the sensor detection point and the actual sealing position, problems such as gear clearance and screw wear can still cause sealing deviation. For example, when packaging electronic components, the semi closed loop controlled sealing line may have uneven adhesive layer thickness due to the small pitch error of the screw, which affects the protective performance of the components.

The fully closed-loop control system constructs a complete feedback regulation loop in the fully automatic sealing line. It directly installs high-precision sensors at key positions such as the end of the glue gun and the surface of the workpiece to monitor real-time parameters such as the actual sealing trajectory, adhesive layer thickness, and dispensing volume. The data is compared with preset instructions, and once deviations are detected, the actuator such as the glue pump pressure and glue gun movement speed are immediately adjusted. It can be called the "real-time monitoring officer" of the sealing process. In scenarios where high precision is required for car light sealing, the fully closed-loop control sealing line can accurately control the thickness of the adhesive layer within a millimeter level error range. Even if there are slight size differences in the car light housing, the system can adjust them in a timely manner based on sensor feedback to ensure that every sealing is uniform and tight, effectively improving the waterproof and dustproof performance of the product. In addition, the strong anti-interference ability of the fully closed-loop system should not be underestimated. Interference factors such as temperature changes and equipment vibrations in the production environment may affect the quality of sealing, but the fully closed-loop system, with its fast dynamic response, can quickly make compensation adjustments and maintain the stability of the sealing process.
